Life is amazing...

I don't know what all this "enjoy your sleepless nights" garbage is ;)

All my kids slept through the night from around 1 1/2 months onwards, bottle fed babies are far easier to get into a routine.

Eve, my latest creation (2 1/2 months old), sleeps from 10pm til around 8.30am and still get's her recommended intake of food throughout the day.

Edit: Sorry, congratulations!

Christ 8 lbs 15 oz, no wonder the birth took so long. Congratulations and welcome to the very best (and worst at the same moment) time of your life.

my girl (19 months) sleeps from 7.45pm to 8.30am now. which is great. but we're expecting again, so, hopefully this next one turns out good too :p

Gratz matey.

My first was born on Fireworks night last year. 36 Hour labour for us and we were knackered! Cant imagine 48!!!

Babies are al different, our has never slept through the night. Always wakes up about 5 hours after going down. Has a bottle then goes back down till about 6, when I wake him up by being a noisy dresser! A quick dummy plus a cuddle and kiss (which I enjoy, coz I dont see him all day!) gets him back to sleep tho.

Well done to you both!

Congrats to the three of you hope it's the start of a very happy new life.

My son is a stone's throw from 5 and has no learned how to get up at 6.45 at weekends but have a lie in during the week....

can't wait for teenage years when he'll have a lie in at the weekend hehe

It is because you, like ourselves, commited that cardinal sin and tantamount child abuse that is bottle feeding. :)

From about three weeks our daughter was sleeping from 12-6 and I took the first month off work so we didn't do the whole sleepless nights either.

Congratulations Moley, it is all worth it.

We were lucky and only had one midwife (post birth) who gave us stick for bottle feeding, she was asked to leave and not return and a much nicer replacement was sent.

Congratulations!!! only 10 weeks to go until i'll be in the same situation :D (probably less, maybe more, you never know i guess hehe)

Congratulations mate - enjoy every second because they grow up far too fast. My little girl is 9 now, only seems like yesterday I was making up bottles...
