On the issue of bullfighting itself, its not really something that bothers me. I'd go and watch a bullfight just for the cultural experience, would only watch one though as there is simply too many cultures around the world to experience that I dont tend to visit the same country more than once anyway. But I have no objection to it.

you realise the bulls are drugged and usually they have lost so much blood before the "fight" even starts that they arent really capable of much anyway.

they dont fight bulls that are fit and healthy

As above, they used to be - but now it's turned into showboating.

Still they used eat the meat afterwards (don't know if they still do), certainly they did that last time I went to a bullfight. Only been to one to see the experience. It is quite something I have to say. Thousands and thousands of animals are killed in a non humane way around the world unfortunately, so I'm afraid I can't really find this any more sickening. What I do find sickening is whaling when whales are close to becoming an endangered species.

I agree with Freefaller and Tombstone, but I love animals and a lot of them are nicer than a lot humans so I'm quite smug, especially as these days as people say it is little more than a scripted wrestling match, the bulls are half dead before it even begins.

**** the **** ****s was my first reaction. I toned it down somewhat. It is a disgusting practice and I have no empathy or sympathy for anyone getting hurt by the bull.

My only feeling of sorrow is for the bull. This one and all the others that are tortured for a horde of screaming ****s.
