It is funny. Is that metallic beige? How much was it?

Looks a sort of metallic cashmere.

That might even be a colour name :)

Remember when I bought mine I got caned hard in here. Are people opening up to the Astra Twin Top I wonder?

Must admit be careful of rear visability, its shocking, made worse in the sport by the A frame roll bars at the back which the design doesn't have.

Lol, I doubt it.

Me to but it does have its angles that it looks great from, personally I think they look pretty bad from the back but side and front on I love the look.

Excuse the pic but I think this angle does the car justice:

Now, i know its obviously not going to be to everyones tastes, and to be quite honest i dont care...

...Let me know what you think :)

Which is it, you don't care what I think, or you want to know?

I think you should go with the don't care what I think plan.

It's a test of his character, seeing if he can withstand the barrage of insults he knew he would get, much like my mate would say down the pub (after 8 pints) "go on, punch me in the gut as hard as you can" - invariably leading to a bit of a disaster.

So here we go:

"It's an utter disaster of a car, from the badge, through the chassis and lego-inspired dashboard ending up in the panel gaps you easily could drive a bus through...sideways...

It has quite simply the most hideous rear-end of any car, including the Mk II Mégane - it's almost as if they considered the Mégane a challenge...'yeah, we can get it uglier than that, we're Vauxhall damnit!' For £7k I'd rather buy 700,000 cola-bottles and suffer the associated dental decay."

I suspect that was what he was expecting.

Yep thats pretty similar to what I got, however I bought mine from showroom so on a scale of 1-10 I think the abuse I got was possibly 8 or 9... Even worse when the people of the forum saw it photographed next to my little workhorse and the car im teaching the mrs to drive in. (Vauxhall Corsa)

Ahh well each to their own, I have to say though in the looks department it is without doubt better looking than the focus CC (opens up a can of worms).

11 seconds to 60, I didn't know that was still possible. Those wheels are too small too. I do think they look ok in black though.

Not too fussed on the styling on that, prefer the hatchback tbh.

As long as you are happy with it that's all that counts.

(Something I tell myself constantly with the Rover :p)

See, things are looking up. Your car is being compared to a Rover.

Well ...yea errr it's errr ......no sorry, I got nothing, well nothing you want to hear anyway, since you already have it.

That colour looks odd though, sort of silver but not quite, maybe it's just the light.
