I saw one of the lotus Elans 2 days ago, its near where i live too, parked up on someones drive, i noticed it when i was comming home from work

Was surprised to see this in my quiet suburban part of town

I think he removes the drivers side front wheel every night for security too as I always walk by at 7:20am-ish and I've never seen it off the jack even though it seems to have moved a bit every time I've walked by.

Yep that's an Elan indeed, the Mustang is a '60s Notchback (probably '65 or '66), rather less common that the fastbacks usually seen these days.
