20th Century Fox contact details for complaint

Surely you write to the manufacturer?

Yes, I might do that too, figured I'd go to Fox first to complain that they let such a shoddy toy bare their name

Should write to whoever you bought it from.

Sadly girlfriend purchased it for my birthday and for some reason (that runs through her entire family) didn't keep receipt...or even the original box)

Lol. Good luck with the complaint though. It's the consumers that stand by and do nothing that ruin the stretchy Homers for the rest of us!

Well, if I had been abusing it or anything then I'd just take it ont he chin but to split after literally 10 minutes of gentle use I'm thoroughly unimpressed, and as such feel I want to do something about it.

Lol, nah it' a genuine one she and her family just have very strange way with things when they buy them for example, her mum got me some dvds for my birthday a few years ago. I opened them and already had one of them. When asked if she still had the receipt, she didn't having got rid of it before she'd even given me the dvds... very odd indeed, they're like it with all sorts of things, it's truely bonkers.

Yes, very strange....*strokes chin*.

Genuine LOL! :D

I was thinking just the same thing.

Is it just me that thnks it's wierd to throw away receipts for things they bought? There have been several occasions when things have broken and they've not been able to take them back because they throw away receipts etc immediately

My lord... what an OUTRAGE!

If you're referring to the outrage of a stretchy toy that breaks when gently stretched..then yes, it is outrageous!!!

Am i over reacting...maybe a little but I do feel that as a consumer I have a right to expect a product to perform the task it is intended for and when it doesn't I am within my rights to complain.

I'd imagine it's no problem. They just go and 'acquire' a new one. Unless of course the locks have been changed.

Gee, that is a very serious problem you have mate. It doesn't stretch fully when its pulled? It breaks! Have you seen a doctor about it?

I know somebody like this, I went to setup a wireless router for them, got there to find he been sent the wrong one to find he had already disposed of all the packaging and reciepts without the thing ever being turned on or tested, wierd.
