What mp3 player do you have?

I've got an 30g ipod classic and a old 512mb creative zen that I use whilst cycling so I don't need to worry about damaging it.

God, i wish iPhone would sort their earphones out. On public transport it's a nightmare. there's bound to be at least one person BLARING their music out.

Don't understand why people stick with stock earphones. It's like buying a blu-ray movie and watching it through an old ctr tv!

After the demise of my iPhone and iPod Touch I decided that Apple had no place in my life.
Bought a faulty 30gb Zune player off ebay for £18, stuck in a spare 30gb SSD I had and that was me. Only a stop gap player but it sounds fairly decent.
Only problem is the transition away from iTunes, it's taking ages to relabel everything correctly...

Been using a SE K750i as my portable radio/music system for a few years now, i considered updating to an 8-track but the battery life wasn't as good.

I have an iphone but don't use it that much for music. Just don't get the chance. I also have a 4/5 year old 40gb HDD based creative MP3 player that I use for the gym. Too much risk of the iphone being flung on the floor etc plus not to keen on handling it with sweaty hands:o

I use a Sansa E280 and a Sony Erickson Walkman phone. I still have a have Creative NOMAD JukeBox 3 and MuVo2 lying around.

Nokia N97 ( 32 gb, expandable to 48 gb). With goldring Gx200 24ct gold limited edition.
I see no point in having a separate phone and mp3 player, more hassle...
Battery life. Weight. Space. Robustness.
Nokia N97 has a battery rated for 32 hours of music playback. Enough if you ask me, charge it overnight when you go to sleep and your battery will NEVER run out unless you are browsing/watching video's for over 4 hours a day...
Weight& space: You ever leave your home without your phone  ? Mp3 + phone takes more space than just a phone.
Robustness: Dropped my N97 on a hard floor god knows how many times ( causing the back to come off and the battery to fall out), my previous K750i had been dropped a gazillion times and drowned in the toilet once too, it still works.

For cycling and other sports, 8GB Sansa Clip+ clipped onto a velcro armband with Sennheiser OMX80 earphones. They stay put and you can control the Sansa easily without taking it off the armband.

Total cost of Sansa, earphones and armband was around £55.

Ipods are pretty much as good as it gets without spending mega money, you could always get over your fanboyism or whatever silly problem you have with apple and just get an ipod.

How cheap are they now, when I got my Sansa the IPOD shuffle was more expensive and didn't even have a screen, the Nano was a lot more.

i wonder if anyone has ever made a push bike soundsystem so you can have music on the move and still be able to hear things around you?
