Clegg came off best in the first debate and it appears to be the complete opposite for him today, in the final debate.

He's out of his depth with economic issues and it's clearly showing. Him trying to distance himself from the other two with lines like ''here they go again'' is transparent, people can see through it.

Cameron still needs to explain his tax breaks.

GB needs to stop shaking his head and smiling.

compare that area to the opinion polls at the north of the country and it turns into a pure numbers game.

It's been a numbers game for quite some time (and I don't think, short of a big change, anybody can win outright).

I think Richmond Park is a real bellweather actually, celebrity conservative candidate, 1000 vote majority for lib dems. It'll probably give a good indication how things pan out nationwide...the tories have to win it to have chance of a majority...

You can argue forever more whether those tax cuts would as effectively stimulate the economy as capital investment (various studies show in this type of situation people are more likely to use that tax cut to pay off their credit card rather than spend the money - which doesn't do much for the economy).
Between 2008 and 2010, only 6% of the extra public spending was on capital investment.

Employment by the state != capital investment.

I think Clegg is way out of his league, Cameron looks a bit confused as well, but now we are getting down the the real issues Brown seems to be the strongest.

Just a question for y'all.

If you had to pick one chancellor-to-be which would you pick ?

Darling, Osbourne or Cable ?

Worryingly I don't think most of the Web 2.0 lot (I like that term whoever came up with it) are able to :(.

Nick is being dominated here - he's barely speaking. Playing with the big boys? :D

Lol dominated ? They are bickering like children, cleggs going to come out on top again this week by saying nothing, it's frightening tbh.

Browns answers go without exception like this "let me just say this, ***insert random issue*****, hod I hate you cameron"

Camerons doing the same thing and neither of them seem to be able to answer a question and just seem obsessed with what the other proposes, and it's going to send us into a hung parliament.

Indeed, he's no vince cable and hasn't really mastered the detail...
