im not usually one for conspiracies but i genuinly think these things are made so illegal for more than just ''because you could go mentally ill''
(proper) MDMA is mind blowing though and something I think everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. I had an almost spiritual experience.
THIS + LSD, Ketamine too.
The Gov. and media are dangerious. Look at Mephedrone, about a year ago they could have banned it when they had the chance but they didn't, they left it and the media went on and on about it - deaths in the paper everyday - they pretty much advertised it - wonder why it got popular? It wasn't even 5 minutes they banned it and The Sun are printing stupid articles on NRG1 saying these statements
NRG1 is:
* naphyrone
* STRONGER than coke
* even more ADDICTIVE than heroin.
* It makes people feel like God Himself
* It juices the brain,... causing cerebral burn-out
* permanently alters brain chemistry
* suicidal tendencies
* It can be made by anyone with a GCSE in chemistry
NONE of this is proven, at the time hardly ANYONE had used it, so why spread complete lies?

Ban drugs? Ban papers, I say making The Sun class A.
If they legalise it we can have OcUK drug meets.
Imagine the fun if the Motors meets were on Acid.![]()
Because in the 19th centuary the drugs you suggest were much more likely to be consumed by the middle and uppr classes, holding down a job means making sure there was enough kids in your factory . Drinking was the major problem among the working class and still is really.
the 1920s is more interesting especially the ammount of cociane use among the it crowd then
About the only time I'd see Fox recommend an Astra![]()
people have been chewing on coco leaves for thousands of years the high from the leaves is from cocaine
Thats a point I've raised in my dissertation, the media often jump on the bandwagon about the evils drug abuse can cause, and how its linked to every-single bad thing in society which then forces the government to make rushed policies to ban legal highs such as mephadrone before research on the drug has been completed! Its why so many people have left the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs staff because they feel like the research they do into drugs is a waste of time!
Also do not go near Mescaline unless you are able to cope with it mentally, as its one of the strongest psychoactive drugs in existence!
In its purest form, a newspaper consists of a collection of facts which, in controlled circumstances, can actively improve knowledge. Unfortunately, facts are expensive, so to save costs and drive up sales, unscrupulous dealers often "cut" the basic contents with cheaper material, such as wild opinion, bull****, empty hysteria, reheated press releases, advertorial padding and photographs of Lady Gaga with her bum hanging out. The hapless user has little or no concept of the toxicity of the end product: they digest the contents in good faith, only to pay the price later when they find themselves raging incoherently in pubs, or – increasingly – on internet messageboards.
take a look at charlie brookers article in the guardian(on the site) about the media and drugs. hes spot on. nail on head

Do these people exist ?Unless someone was a hardcore addict I don't think there are people as above.
Was going to say the same!
I feel the softer stuff such as cannabis is okay to decriminalize, but there must be a huge difference between decriminalizing and legalizing, who has the right to sell these drugs then.
if properly done it would work, but would we be able to do it without taxing people back to the dealers?
