I called him a fat, alcoholic *rhymes with banker* on my facebook page. He admitted to the members of staff that I had said nothing to him personally (I don't even acknowledge him in the college at all) and have not done anything to him that he could really complain of although he did say that I intimidated him "because I looked at him funny". This comes from a man that I put up at my house over the festive period because he had nowhere else to go when the college closed, gave him money when he was short of cash and let him stay with me for no cost at all (even though he just about cleaned the bloody freezer out though and never replaced anything he took)

I've honestly thought about doing this but I think I'd just burst out laughing when I say it. I mean, how the hell am I meant to keep a straight face (no pun intended) after I'd said it? I do own a pink shirt but it's in the wash and I don't know where I can get a pair of loafers and white chinos at such short notice

When I let him stay with me I hardly really knew the man that well and tbh he seemed a genuine fella and it would have meant him sleeping in his car for a couple of weeks.I couldn't let anybody go through that as he looked truly miserable in the lead up to the college closing, so I only done what I thought was the only decent thing to do at the time. It was really after the festive period that he started to show his real spiteful side to not just me, but to others in the college as well.

Where is the facebook panic button (applicable for jailing anyone over the age of 16 for using the internet) when you need it? Could have had him locked up long ago.
He sounds a very strange guy with some victimisation issues, thinking the world is against him for being gay. Just ignore him 100% and get on with proper uni work like hitting those freshers.

You don't HAVE to go anywhere ...
If police want to talk to you they are welcome to come talk to you you are under no obligation to go and talk to them in their station.
In fact, you are under no obligation to talk to them period unless they want to take you in for questioning, you can freely tell them "thanks but no thanks" and close the door in their face
This is a terrible situation.
If it were me i wouldn't go. After they get you talking they may be able to gather enough concern for an arrest. If they had anything on you would have been apprehended by now.

To me, that just seems bizarre. I wouldn't let anyone stay with me who I hadn't done my own CRB check.

Just slightly off topic but something I can't work out -
Recently I went on a Nile cruise and there were 10 of us in our group - 4 couples and two blokes.
My gaydar was really off because when asked by my wife if I thought they were gay I said definitely not.
After a couple of days it soon became apparent that they were a couple, they had figured out we were all OK with it and then suddenly the gay accents, limp wrists, double entendres and talking about being gay started to appear.
WHY?
Just why do gay men have to ram it down your throat?

The real question should be why do gay men have to conform to the stereotype?
Just because you are gay doesn't mean you have to be camp.
I don't understand it myself. I was only watching a documentary the other night from Ireland about gay teens - the lesbians featured had short, cropped hair and looked like boys and one of the boys featured liked putting on his mum's makeup (not on himself - doing her makeup for her).

I know quite a few lesbians and can't think of any that have short hair. Most are quite tomboyish but I wouldn't say no to any of them (or their girlfriends...)

Well I must admit to never having met any lesbians (that I know of). The media just seems to focus on camp gay men and butch lesbians.
