They also have a Civic Type R, current angular model. Inside of that had the best quality and feel about.
You have to be kidding me, right? The Civic is MILES from either the Golf or the Audi!

even if the civic is 08 plate its still Japanese certainly not in the germans league for build quality.
That's why the automotive industry follows the Japanese quality and manufacturing model and principles !!!!![]()

Or he could just buy one of the other cars on his shortlist, the Audi A3![]()

Only a hint but those blinkers are always there...![]()
The A3 also has the Haldex 4WD. The looks thing is highly subjective. There are also likely to be some suspension differences and the interior will be better in the Audi but (unless the original owner hit the option list hard) the spec is likely to be slightly less.
Edit: there may be differences (I'm not 100% sure) between the haldex versions under discussion if we're talking MKIV golf and 8P A3.
the 1.8T A3, S3, Mk4 R32 all have same Haldex - 30% max power to rear (I have performance part in my mk1 TT tho 60% rear)
The 2.0T A3, S3, mk5 R32 have teh newer one. Cant remember but think 60/40
Well looks like the Audi got sold to someone over the weekend, saves me a decision... lol.
And had a call from the second SEAT garage, wanting my custom all of a sudden..... So sent them away to try and work out a good deal on a White K1.
Also found a Cupra that has been mod'ed........ Stage one chip, 19 inch wheel, K1 body kit, twin pipe exhaust, custom leather re-trim.... plus it's had 3 track days !!!Needs a new clutch... So bet wary of this one.....
I've never quite understood the idea of settling for a car simply because it's close by. If you want a 3.2 A3, find a good one and travel for it, rather than settling for something else just because its there.
