ahh yea my stupid misreading mistake!

but in the 6 core AMD test it is still lower then the 930,

also the amd bundle is 25 quid more then the i7 one and only has 4 gigs of RAM

so is it really worth the loss of the 2 gigs of extra ram the i7 bundle has?
 
The spec in post 16 is £868.98.

That amd spec, with the cheaper ram from ocz is about £837

The loss of 2gb ram isn't that big, is your windows 32 or 64bit?

arghh its actually such a hard decision to get the amd 6 core or the i7 bundle

ive managed to get my budged up to a grand now! so anything else i could do better with?

really appreciate all the help so far!

As easy as a normal harddrive.

But you need windows7 to support the TRIM function, this stops the performance of the memory cells from degrading over time.
 
Ati have nothing.

I think we have managed to talk him out of wasting money on a nvidia card.
 
well the nvidia cards are more expensive and need 150 quid for the 3d kit

whereas ive seen everywhere that the 5870 is suprerior!

any recommendations on a ssd then? got a f3 1tb samsung atm!


also the case i want to reuse is the Cooler Master Ammo 533

just wondering if that will do! which i hope does!
