F1 Manager Game

well guys loving this at the moment, developing my own chassis in second season, and am storming the championship 7 races 7 wins and 7 second places.

also I have Fangio as my main driver and for my level hes awesome lol, also making 2 million a race in profit, and so far have everything to 4 star with 200 workers in each area :)

im in my second season now though and already won both the constructors and drivers championship in my first season so hopefully should get a repeat this year.

Team name is Diablo.

oh and as for being a minute ahead :)

you can make your own pit calc, its easy. alternatively the race society has a great one open to members, with other calculators and cool stuff too. im lobbying to increase club size to 50 so i can take those of you who wish to join :)

if your winning by a minute then your wasting money somewhere, hold back and win by less and save more cash!!

well that's more like it a decent motivation with a bg standard car and I finish the race 1minute+ ahead. Unfortunately 2nd driver crashed. he's been sacked and replaced by a 15year old..

I use take it easy on my drivers. They both have -5 crashing... but havent crashed since... doesnt affect driving speed by more than 0.03 in testing. Helped me loads. I only had 1 car finishing in the first 3 races. Now i get 1st and 2nd. 3/4 races in a row.

Child Labour!!!!

Child labours good, he won last night against a very good 30year old by 40seconds and another minute to the next car. Unfortunatley, someone nabbed him for next season :(

how much doff between inters and soft? In practice on sifts I was fastest. And qaulified 1+4 for race, before realising it was a damp track, so have stuck inters on. Is that the right thing to do?

i would do what ever gets me the best times in practice, i assume you diddnt even run inters at all in practice so you probably would be faster on them, you just qualified so well because your drivers/car are so much better than everyone else.
so yes i would go with inters, you will probably be faster, + less chance of crashing

I'm in memphistos new league :D

I demand you relinquish use of my pit stop calculator to ensure i win the league!

Managed to get 1.2 even when qualifying on wrong tyres.
Won league.
3 races, 3 wins, 2x second place and a crash.

Now got level 2 Facilities.

Anyway to improve a drivers qualifying, or will this just happen as they race more? or is it stuck at that level.

your technical department improves qualifying mate, they set the car up based on free practise.

Yeah i was pretty shocked by my qualifying times, considering my practice times.

Still, may the biggest **** win!

I'm in league 39 this season, I finally have some talented drivers and a bit of cash, hope things go well. Anyone else in 39?

Also, how much of a difference would I notice in my design departments speed if I went from Gavin Fisher (40% skill, £74k) to say Neil Oatley (80%, £438k), both with 200 assistants?

yeah got 100 guys and a mid level manager. one driver got pole by over a second, other driver is in 4th. But has much better stats for starts.

So free practice makes a difference then, better for my poor qualifying driver to say do 35laps and my good qualifier to only do 15 laps.
