F1 Manager Game

I've spent my day making a Pit Stop calculator for GPMP :(

Still. Kinda handy to put in the # Laps, Fuel Drop and Avg Pit Time to work out wether it;s best to do 0,1,2,3,4 or 5 pit stops in less than 5 seconds :D

Care to share this calculator :) I've somehow managed to pick up a fever in this nice weather... stayed out in shorts n t-shirt when the sun went in :/

Yup, send me an email to trust.

You have to have done a few races first so you can work out how long your pitstops take (or just put in 49seconds, which is the basic i think).

It's pretty self explanatory.

Thanks didnt notice that send an email thing :)

My pit stops are 31-36 i think. I signed some cheapy tech director or something. Unless its longer if u have to fill more petrol

Sent it yesterday i think.

Pretty much have this game sussed. Making a profit even when the books are -457k in the red. Heh.

eh? how? do u get tonnes of money for winning or something?

I managed to abuse the system somewhat..

During testing (before racing that weekend) I hire the most personnel i can to gain the most out of testing. Then fire all but 10 of them for race weekend.

I've only done 5 races. And figured this out for the last race :( But you can qualify with the best parts IE. Ferrari engines and the best tires.. then swap them out for the cheapest ones lol.

/edit Opps forgot to thank you for the Calc. Its very similar to the one i found in google but takes into account speed of pit stops!! So thats perfect!

Yeah no worries! It's not 100% accurate as it doesnt take into account Tyre degradation... but honestly it's such a minimal change and hugely complicated to calculate that I didnt bother, and i've won basically every race (1st and 2nd) for the last 16 races!

Yeah, you get a metric tonne for winning a race. If you get first and second you get about 500k i think. Then I got 1.5mil for winning the team championship and 800k for winning the drivers championship!

So basically I just use all the best stuff now so that im making negative income, but win the races to keep the books up :/

It wont work for long as eventually i'll be promoted to a league where people play properly, but i still have 4 open slots for Sponsor and i've achieved 5 Star Sponsors now so the income will eventually get back to the green once they're signed.

If it's anything like their last game *which it looks remarkably like*

You have my sympathies. :D

yep, looks the same apart from a few things moved around.

i'll be suprised if its still on your hard drive after an hour. Awful game .

Im just waiting for GPRM to get sorted (seems like its getting a bit closer to release now)

email sent mate.

ive asked on the game forums but ill ask here as well anybody got any explanation for this ? my practice times are way different than my qualifying like 2-3 seconds out whereas he computer teams are very close to there practice time ?

PC
Practice
Robert Davies Puma 25laps 1:56.538
Qualifying
Robert Davies Puma 1:56.440

so not a lot in it

ME
Practice
Juan Manuel-Fangio Diablo 25 1:52.693
Qualifying
Juan Manuel-Fangio Diablo 1:55.410

that's 2.8 seconds difference. and for reference the practice and qualifying times were roughly the same in my first season, its only in this the second that there has been such a big variation ?

hey glad you guys seem to be enjoying this, we have a club that a few of us are in already
"KF SD Racing" please sent a join request and hopefully we can make our way up the club standings!

How do i send request?

finally getting to grips with it. it seems to favour more stops than less by some large margin.

Go to the communications tab and then to club, im sure there is a link in there to send a request then you just need to type in "KF SD Racing"

Not sure thats 100% right as i cant see the screen cos im already in a club, but im sure its not much more difficult than that.
