Guess i posted in the wrong section before...anyway here a link to gp manager.
Basically you get a race every night, and need to set up your teams developments / engineering/ race stratagey etc...great game to pass a couple of hours at your desk!

GpManagerPro

With the Schumacher game now open, we have a new club for OCUK members where we can get you up to speed quickly on some good tactics to use to get to the front of the grid!

Join our club: The Party Boys

You can find us on the club leaderboards, hoping to finish in the top three this year after what looks to be set for a 4th place finish this year in the Stewart game

See you on the Grid!

yeh the game is pretty good, have been loving it for a while now! gets pretty addictive as you start to unlock new things

my previous post got deleted, no one said why, so i presume it was in the wrong section

I still play GP Manager 2 :o

gp manager 2...i think i played that ages ago, isnt it an old game thats not online...if you like that you should def give this one ago, it very similar but u dont get to see the race :( although it has a very detailed lap by lap report of what went on during the race

hey glad you guys seem to be enjoying this, we have a club that a few of us are in already
"KF SD Racing" please sent a join request and hopefully we can make our way up the club standings!

How do i send request?

finally getting to grips with it. it seems to favour more stops than less by some large margin.

Go to the communications tab and then to club, im sure there is a link in there to send a request then you just need to type in "KF SD Racing"

Not sure thats 100% right as i cant see the screen cos im already in a club, but im sure its not much more difficult than that.

accepted, i saw your name in the leader boards and though you were one of my friends, he always calls everything ****-squid.

strange minds think alike i guess

any way we are all reasonably new to the game but have picked up a few tricks, anything you wanna know give us a shout in the club forums

It depends on the Track Length and the Fuel Drop. It differs between 1 and 3 mostly. Also depends on your pit times.

Yeah, my once your pit times drop below 20 sometime 4 is even better!
Hopefully they will add in pit lane time at some point as 5secs for a pit stop is abit silly, lol

DampCat, you should join our club!

KF SD Racing - we are 20th in the club standings

Thanks for the pit stop calculator.

Where do I find pit stop times?

Never mind found them. ouch 29 seconds.

just to let you know your tech department plays a big role in your pit stops, so upgrade ur manager + staff to get the best times.

Hopefully ur calculator has worked right and you have chosen a 1 stop for the race tonight!

+ @ dampcat, where in the uae are you, ive lived in dubai for abit, are you originally from there?

i would do what ever gets me the best times in practice, i assume you diddnt even run inters at all in practice so you probably would be faster on them, you just qualified so well because your drivers/car are so much better than everyone else.
so yes i would go with inters, you will probably be faster, + less chance of crashing

Anyway to improve a drivers qualifying, or will this just happen as they race more? or is it stuck at that level.

They are stuck at that level, those stats down the bottom that are represented by little squares are important when choosing a driver to hire as they do not change.

you pick the traits but not the flaws.

oh and i think that table is wrong as i dont believe you get 5,400 traits at the top level :P

the gold star facilities are pro account facilities mate in answer to that question. in answer to the sponsor question im no sure you may have to wait for another race before they will offer for that part.

Shouldnt have to, are you sure you have 100% and not 99 or something?
Once a sponsor expires and you have another waiting at 100% it should offer you a deal

Sucks, is it possible to make an engine better than those you can contract with level 2 facility then?

Yes, much better

hmm going to be trial and error then acid, but if you are developing yer own stuff i would suggest not going witht he jonda chassis, you need to give yourself an edge over yer opponent, so maybe go for better tyres or engine than him instead.

also when developing yer own suff develop i tto the same level i.e

20/20/20/16

on all parts then move up so the best thing to do is look at how much you can upgrade each part by per race then decide on what you want it to be.

then upgrade all 9 car parts to the same level and start again. the reason for this is stability. if you develop one part that is way better than the others it can reduce the stability of the car. the other option you have is to work out what the parts are on the toyo chasis now and improve them all slightly to make the car 100% stable. this would also give you an edge over the jonda chassis as that might only be 75% stable in comparison.

my first advice ont his would be to write down what each of the 9 parts of the toyo chasis are, then add them up. i.e 20/17/14/14 = then when upgrading make them all equal the same that will give a 100% stable chasis.

so if 8 parts - 43 and one is 37, upgrade the part thats 37 to 43 and boom improved stability :)

if you dont get any of that ill try and explain better however im only just grasping it myself lol

I have a formula for stability if anyone wants it

I think a better way to say this is that the stability is based on the standard deviation of the statistics of the part (or chassis)
