*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

I was playing Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 this afternoon , getting a good score of 38-3-7 Wasteland

I must say i was doing a spot of camping like we all do , my question is why do people get the ass with campers , we all do it from time to time

I was getting some much hassel from the other team shouting abuse at me over the headset . I could not believe people could get so upset over a game . Then i am thinking i bet you have done the camping thing . So my point is , if you dont like campers dont play the game ! ! !

Kind of agree, it is just another tactic after all, especially with TDM games.
Objective based games is a bit different as I think camping is only acceptable to hold a flag on Dom or the HQ on Head Quarters for instance.


Played TDM on Derail the othe day and ALL of the other team were camping snipers. We could literally not get across the other side of the map.
We just sat at our end of the map and them the other and we waited for the game to end. Score was stupidly low at something like 400 to 1000 after the timer went.

I think it depends on why you're camping. On something like domination or S&D it's acceptable if you're protecting an area.Same as it's ok to camp if you're a sniper as that's what snipers do.
People tend to get arsey when you're just camping to rack up your killstreak and are making no effort to play the game properly.
 
too be honest i find if you stand on the spot while shooting sum1 you will get called camper,I think most people now just say your a camper because you killed them,and have no idea what it actualy means.
 
Anyone got this MAP addon pack yet?

It says in game menu now that there is maps available throught PS Network Store...but cant seem to find it???
 
Could the fact they could be possibly updating the store cause my PS3 to have taken around 20 minutes to download a 16MB patch?
 
Those games we played last night were good fun. Especially when we had the boosters on and he was complaining about us camping!

Can't believe I got a 25 killstreak but didn't have the nuke on. :(

Should be on tonight after 7:30.
 
Good playing with you guys last night, I plugged my headset in to find the mic doesn't want to work anymore :| Luckily I've got another one lurking in the box somewhere.

I do apologise to all though, I was cannon fodder for a majority of the game trying to cap maps and spot the campers lol.
 
Yeah fun games again last night. Will be on today after college about half 4 if people are on. Need a couple of marathon runs to make that final prestige.
