Asus rampage III Extreme

Very nice setup pinto,

To the rest can you please stop bitching its getting very old and childish. The mobo will be out when they have stock. Slackworth has prob forgot or has not update, whichever whay the mobo wont come sooner now stfu :mad: rant over.....off to for some alone time over pinto's rig ;)

Nobody is bitching, just asking. After having ordered and paid for one a month ago I would like to know where it is so would everyone else. :)
 
Pinto, am sure u dint see the previous posts but were asking if you could tell us how u fitted the fan since one side of the clips are shortened.

Also pinto i have the same ram you are using, and a noob kinda, was wondering if you could tell me how u set up the ram, did u just XMP or manual ? please let me know

M8 just clip the ram cooler as usual, the bottom fixation can be clip to the little module retainer don't worry ;) But it's really near the graphic card; I have another rig with a Maximus 3 Extreme and a Gskill pi black ram kit and i can't use the first pci-e :(
For the ram setup just select the ram divider to match the ram speed you want, next select the qpi speed at least X1 multi under the X2 ram multi to use low qpi voltage (for example for 2/14 ram ratio => x2 uncore=X24 use at least x23 or below multi) finnaly put the voltage required to unsure stability :D
look at the screen with rog connect, you can see the setup i use

the green system is much cooler than the orange system u got above :P

Mr Plum,

I'm interested to learn if and how you are going to upgrade your crucials to their latest firmware with the R3E. I assume you plan for stripe 0 and I'd like to know if you get the TRIM/CG to work as well. So please post you experiences once we get our boards:p
 
Just spoke to Asus. We will not be getting enough to cover all of our pre-orders on the first batch. We will know Friday/Monday what the next batch will be.

Going to be a few lucky ones though :)
 
I’m still waiting around for my Rampage III Extreme, though I’m now a bit worried that it’s not going to fit into my Zalman GT1000 case. I’ve taken the HD rack out (to help air flow) and I’ve heard the R III isn’t full E-ATX.

So what do you guys think, will it fit?????

R3E is the same size as the EVGA Classified, and I have it installed in that exact Zalmam case, so yes it will fit.
 
i have an pre order her from beginning off aprill and from a nother german site, and they sad they will ship it today at 17.00, so if this is true ill cancel my pre order her, and bump you further up in the line.
