I was home from work today along a road which I drive along very frequently. The speed limit is 30 through a residential area, but then continues for about half a mile as the road passes through country side, until it reverts to NSL.
I increased my speed to about 55 as the NSL sign came into my view, and a police passed me driving the opposite way.
Do they monitor the speed of oncoming traffic as they drive around, or will I have got away with it?
He certainly didn't turn around and try and catch me, does it sound like I'm int he clear?
Cheers

If he stopped and asked me why i was speeding i'd of asked him the same thing
doubt it'd end well for me though
