Half those points are completely retarded.

If Blair was still PM I might have voted Labour.. at least he would have lied to me charismatically![]()
I think the most disappointing thing if the Tories get an outright majority will be the loss of opportunity for any meaningful electoral reform for potentially decades - I'm not too fussed about the rest of the policies as there's hardly much to separate the parties behind the soundbites and suchlike, especially if Cameron sticks to his professed green, NHS-friendly, 'big society' agenda which is virtually Labour in '97 - he truly is the 'heir to Blair' in those respects.
What's that got to do with a Tory majority killing off any chance of meaningful reform?
For all of you who are voting tory, surely this picture is so offensive that you will change your mind please?

The clue is in the name.
Except that with three genuinely competing parties, the FPP system has been shown up as wholly unrepresentative and disenfranchising. The fact that the Tories use examples like "the BNP could get 10 seats" under PR - well duh that's the point - those opinions exist and shouldn't just be ignored and the disenfranchisement of those individuals only enhances the fringe party's attractiveness.Well, their proposal to reduce the number of and equalise the size of consitutencies will do more to improve electoral fairness than Labour's proposal of AV will.
I, like yourself, would prefer actual proportional representation, but I can also see plenty of drawbacks with the whole idea...

Nope, makes me confident knowing i'm voting for a party whose leader had the best possible education.

I would, at the very least, like to see a form of reasonable debate and/or referendum to change to a more proportional voting system - something which Cameron has made clear will not happen under his (outright) leadership.
