What 2nd GPS option? I've not enabled any such feature (or found one) yet I get Google Maps accuracy down to below 10metres on normal map mode and completely accurate when navigating (as accurate as normal satnav devices and other nav apps).

12. The 4 gig micro SD card supplied is lame (was a samsung class 2...erggghh !). I added a 32 gig class 6 micro SD card (ok im an idiot, but i prefer more space than i could possibly need !)

Out of interest how much did you pay for it? I can't find them for less that £90, which is a lot!

In settings, under location 'Use GPS Satellites'

"Locate to street-level (requires more battery plus view of sky)"

And is it genuine? I would be very suspicious

SanDisk 32 gig micro sdhc card. When writing to it, i get about 6/7 meg according to win 7 anyway. Seems fine, well as fast as my old 8 gig did in ny nokia 5580 (i have notice however the card itself has what appear to be a class 2 symbol on it)

I don't want to sound rude here, but Sandisk don't do a class 6 32gb MicroSD - only a Class 2. In fact, I don't think anyone has been able to make a class 6 one yet.

£60 is still a good price for a 32gb card though, they're £90 everywhere. :)

Edit, ignore me I've just seen your post above about it being a Class2! :p

I'm not sure - Orange went out of stock the day they launched it. They might possible come out at a later date, most likely at a premium though..

Does anyone know if it's possible to connect to an Outlook Web Access for email syncing? I can see options to connect directly to an exchange server - will this work with an OWA instance as well?

@growse - Probally not. To connect to an Exchange server 2003 or later you had 3 options 1) Activesync - pretty much the defacto way to connect to exchange 2) OWA - pretty obvious webmail access 3) RPC/HTTPS or now Outlook Anywhere this lets you connect outlook to your exchange server without the need for a VPN connection.

Also managed to get hold of a sim free Desire should be here on Monday with any luck :)

What colour are the back covers on the brown Desire? Might pick one up on the bay if they're black. Orange logo on the back is slightly off putting!

I ordered my Desire from mobilephonesdirect.co.uk last week but still not arrived as they are out of stock :(

Hoping it will be here by 12th as I am away to St Lucia on the 13th and I wouldnt mind getting it loaded up with music and movies for the trip!

On that note what video formats does the desire play?
