Labour now have 5 seats according to BBC1. Are they going to tell us which constituencies they are?
Darlington, Durham North, Houghton & Sunderland South, Sunderland Central and Washington & Sunderland West.

All with big Tory swings, giving overall swing of 4.6% (From LAB to CON) - encouraging.
 
Why did they pick the 11th hour (and 59th minute) to go vote?

It’s their choice. The polling stations are open until 22:00, you should be able to get in at 21:55 and even half an hour earlier and not have to queue. This isn’t a record turnout so something is wrong.
