It bemuses me as to why people think that going to a decent school and having a good education is a bad thing.
Morons.

Having a good education is a good thing.

Perhaps it's simply the mistrust of someone who is part of an "elite" group of people, who would perhaps favour his fellow "elites" at the cost of those who aren't in that group.

In that way, I suppose, it becomes less and issue of how well educated you are, but which circles you move in.

Pure speculation there; I have no opinion of Cameron either way.

most of the people i know who voted lib dems think their gonna legalise cannabis and reduce, cocaine and ecstasy to class c drugs, gives you an insight to the local lib dem voters round my way

Its always been that way. I remember the mock election when I was at school for the '87 election, and the Lib Dems 'won' that. Seems they quite appeal to the young

I did in the end convince a couple to join me and vote Tory, but this place is until the result a 7000 majority for the LD's. I doubt we have made a dent here.

"The police in Northern Ireland say the car left near a county centre in Londonderry did contain a viable explosive device. Around 500 people were moved out of the centre and the count was suspended while the car was examined by bomb disposal experts. They carried out a controlled explosion and the device was defused." wow..

And the sad people that need to grow up are trying to ruin a demographic event, shows their plans for northern Ireland

IIRC most pre-vote opinion polls did not count the effect of LibDems taking Conservative seats but rather assumed that all the Tory marginals would be safe and calculated the outcome based on Tory wins.

Interesting stuff anyway. Will be particularly intriguing whether those Tory supporters who continually bitch and moan about the West Lothian issue shut their traps if the Tories form a governing majority with the support of Northern Irish MPs.
