I can't believe I forwent sleep for this. Stupid people. Stupid democracy. RAGE.

Aye, I'm feeling the same way.
I've just been playing Solitaire for the last hour. Boring now eh?

There's absolutely no way that Clegg will fail to get his seat.

I'm also unsure why they're so adament it'll be hung. Unless it's my sleep deprivation, but the Tories can still get a majority?

They can, but it's unlikely.

The thing that is confusing me, is how Labour can form a government, even with LibDems they fall short.

It depends on how many of the remaining seats they get, do you know how many of the remaining seats are currently held by Labour?

They can form a minority government. He has the option to try first, and see if it works. It works up here (in a way). There'll have to be another election in a year or less if that is the case though, surely!

But there are no laws - only gentleman's rules - so surely Cameron should muscle his way in to first try?

Why did some people leave it so late to vote, my polling station was about 50 feet from the next in Loughborough, there were lots of staff and it wasnt slow, in and out in a couple mins,

Well, Brown is the current PM and as such he has the duty to remain in power until it is certain who can actually govern.
Once all the seats are determined, I'm sure Cameron will be on the phone to Clegg and others and trying to sort something out.

Then it'll fall on Cleggs shoulders to tell Brown he isn't interested and he'll be forced to step down and allow Cameron to go and kiss the Queens hand.

I imagine thousands appeared at the most convenient polling station after having dinner after work, creating a problem.
