Indeed I am a terminator.

Robgmun - you must feel a little distraught that the tories messed up so bad? You are 100% true-blue. Don't you feel Cameron must have dropped the ball somewhat from the crazy-high polls he enjoyed 2 months ago?

nope :)

I'm relaxed about the whole thing, i think cameron is biding his time

EDIT - Brown will continue to squat in number 10

Dave dropped the ball with his jackanory manifesto.

Clegg dropped the ball with ridiculous policies.

Labour have just lost the plot.

This should really have been a 1997 moment for the tories, just shows how out of touch they are.

I think the last 13 years have been friggin' awesome.

I seriously enjoyed the longest economic boom EVER EVER EVER.

We've weathered the GLOBAL recession. We're on track for recovery.

Interest rates have been mental low, when I had a mortgage I saved thousands and thousands which I spent on PC computer games and paying off the mortgage.

It's been a fantastic 13 years, best of my life, with 18 months of GLOBAL recession. I can hardly think of ANY Labour decisions I disagree with. And I am well into the 40% tax bracket but I WANT AND WELCOME higher tax. Because I want the best, fairest society possible, and to live in a country where we help the weak. Because I'm a nice guy.

You have to be a troll.

An economic boom that clearly started to form under a Conservative government, and was likely a result of the reformative economic programmes instituted under the Conservative government.

Weathered a recession? How much comfort is it that, by 2014, we are going to have the largest deficit in the EU and a national debt biblical on a GLOBAL scale? I'm sure we could have invested £800 Billion in economic stimulus, but would that have been sensible? It's the equivalent of saying you have "weathered" a personal pay cut by spending on your credit card instead of cutting your outgoings.

Yeah but the current situation is bad... It's (comparatively) easy to provide good services for a few years without too high tax is you borrow 25% of everything you spend but this is obviously not sustainable. What makes you think the Tories would have been so much worse over the last 13 years, and would have left is in a worse situation?

And missed that 5 elections from '83 to '93 were all ALP, here's all results since 1901 for your interest;

Look at how many coalitions there are. I thought that was the point, there will be so many more. In Australia at least they have an automatic coalition, basically turning it into a 2 party system.

ALP getting 5 majority terms in a row is simply something which would be unprecedented in the UK. Its far less one sided.

Wow, gordo going all out to woo lib dems with call for referendum on voting reform.

Funny how he only started supporting it in the run up to the election after 13 years.

Goodness knows how the conservatives would have done.

I do think that if they were faced with what Labour were faced withwhen we had the banking crises, they'd had let the free market do it's thing (kind of a cornerstone of tory thinking), and none of us would have RBS accounts right now.

Which is ironically exactly what the US did in the 1930s :( Didn't end well ..

So Gordon Brown suddenly wants to change the voting system now that he has lost? Get lost you droopy faced old man. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

GB continues to squat in number 10
