Just checked mine and the status has changed from "Pending Stock" to "Ready for Dispatch" at last!

I ordered mine on the 30th April so hoping it wil be here by Wednesday in time for me going my holiday on Thursday.

Been using the standard 4GB one since March and it's slightly full :p

I doubt it lol...best speak to O2 but ive had mine unlocked for £20 from a mobile phone shop on the high st....was done in 5 mins....sod waiting for tmobile to get the codes etc etc.

Don't know about O2 but when I got my Nexus (I know, get out of the Desire thread!) I phoned T-Mobile to get my old Hero unlocked, they wanted £15 or so to do it. Just complained a bit and they did it for free. Worth a try!
 
cant comment on o2 desire but I thought o2 didnt lock their phones or put custom firmwares on, they may well do now but i know in the past they didnt

Contract phones i dont think are locked but PAYG phones are probably locked...not 110% sure though.
 
tmobile will not switch me onto the better tariff from what i got through MPD like some people have got..

i got.. like many others.. 300mins.. 300 texts and 1gb internet [the booster].. others on here have said they managed to switch this to to unli8meted texts.. the booster.. and 3gb internet

the woman on the phone said if i wont get ANY internet if i switch the booster from internet to texts
 
Same deal as mine, expect I have the original colour. You might want to consider installing a generic ROM when you get if if you can't live with all the annoying demos which can't be removed.
 
Has anyone sent a desire back to mobiles.co.uk yet, mine has the pinking issue and its starting to annoy me now. What's there stand on things? Turnaround?

Now THAT'S a deal! I assume its from Mobile Phones Direct and on the T-Mobile network?

Were you on Vodafone recently? Did you cancel your contract due to the FUP changes?

Would really like a Desire and if I can pay £10 a month less for a Desire than I pay for my Magic I'd be happy to have fewer minutes/texts. :)
