*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Doesn't work. Be it powered on by the pad, power button or eject button, i get nothing apart from three flashing reds. Out of warrenty as well. I was keen for halo :(

How far did you guys get i was falling asleep by the end of the first level. Was nade spamming and doing 360s to keep myself awake.

I kept trying to sprint and knife which was a problem early on. Had to change the control layout too as i kept zooming in when i was trying to melee

most cd/dvd drives have an emergency release. Remove the xbox facia and look for a small pin sized hole on the disk drive, stick a strong paperclip down it and it should eject.
 
It certainly is. All I'm looking forward to now is actually been able to use the AK47 without losing it within 30 minutes
 
Blehh it makes me tempted to not prestige again but then ill just regret it later when i know i could have just gotten to tenth faster. Whats the best way to gain experience in peoples opinion like gametype/challenges?

I seen that on the leader board its silly how easy it is to rank up in the early going. Im chasing my 5th prestige tonight i think. Ive missed a nuke by 2 or 3 kills 5 times tonight now on team death match! Everyone gonna be on in a bit?

Demolition when your the higher ranks. The match bonus is ridiculous. 4000 nd odd per round and theres at least 2 sometimes 3.. Hard to win but is really good for points

Yep, one of the best things about it aswell you can have a ****ty game but still manage to get 8000 and when you have a good game and complete challenges the points roll in. I once got 35000 by playing 3 rounds with a 4000 game score, 13 000 match bonus of 3 rounds and the rest in challenges :)
 
Ok just threw my controller at the wall, dunno if it still works dont intend on checking for a day or 2. Apparently now you can get wallhacks for console.

Joined a lobby, dom on rundown, 4 10th prestiges, 2 9th, all with the kind of emblems and titles that only hackers use. Like 3 of them had bios saying selling 10th etc.

We start the game, i go cap A, immediatly get killed by an RPD. Watched the killcam and he sprayed it from B flag through the building. Thought nothing of it as it looked like he just sprayed. Next i run down the left hand bridge (A-C) and get killed by a different guy using an RPD, but he was standing the 2nd story building over the water, against the metal wall and completely aimed straight at me and killed in like 5 bullets. No way this was fluke, they didnt have a UAV up as none of them had over 2 kills.

Stayed in for a few more deaths, turns out they were all using rpd and getting kills through walls. So about 4 host migrations later as all my team quit i back out, try play again and go straight back into the same game. Died within the first 3 seconds of spawning. Backed out and joined that game 4 times in a row before i just lobbed my controller and punched the xbox off button.

/rant /essay. im seriously ******* off with this game now. playing solo is just pointless.

no worries skill i'm gonna be on throught the day tomorrow if you want to play. I hate playing on my own aswell and i'f im on my own it's ffa all the way

I think I just got my head around how they do it basically the guy does a system link to a Jtag xbox with a modded lobby then goes online with his legit infected xbox invites his mate in to a private match infects all of them with wall hack aimbot then they close the lobby and switch to go online the infection stays with them all untill the xbox is turned off... or... each guy you played against has a jtag and does it themselves then they all join up and just mess with everyones game. Once I get my Jtag up and running I swear if I hit a lobby with them cheating scum I will do it back to them.

I'm done with uni now so i can go on all day with no guilt :D May have to buy a new controller though i'll see if it works in the morning.

Yeah i mean they were all in a party with same clan tags so no doubt just one of them had it all set up. Like that HCS&D lobby we went in when it should have been Dom, some seriously messed up stuff. How much, if any, of this glitching happened on cod4 when it was relativly new?

Just completely ruins what was being quite a fun and relaxing evening.
