I like the look of that new 2.2 launcher and docklet.

All the more reason to root the Desire and flash stock 2.2 I think!

Depends how its released. If its released through the operators there will most likely be delays from when HTC issue it. If you have a rooted phone as soon as HTC issue the update for the desire you can install it.

I'm wondering about what a normal percentage of memory use should be. checking in 'smart monitor' with all tasks closed, my memory is on 47%
I'm mainly wondering cause this is a replacement desire and it seems to be noticeable slower than the original that I had

Cheers.. I Managed to do it this time no problem.. The person I talked too first time was a right b**** I told her that if I had an android phone I should get internet as default and she was having none of it..but I didnt have any link for reference..this time I was all ready for an argument but this girl just sorted it straight away!

thanks a lot tho..feels like something for nothing! 3 gb instead of 1 and unlimited texts instead of 300!

Mind you can change the booster every month, so e.g. if you are travelling it might be cool to check what's most suitable.
 
Yeah that's pretty useful.. And its a much better data usage tan any of the other networks.. Just glad I didnt go for the 100 mins 500 texts offer! Few! It was more expensive too!
 
Does anyone have the network settings for this so I can the Desire on the internet. I have an o2 pay as you go sim, it's called "3G prepay Maldives" sim. I try to connect and it says my APN is incorrect :confused:
 
Woo yeah got some goodies in the mail today \m/

I lolled myself though as I thought that the ebay seller had sent me 2 neoprone pouches instead of 1 but when I went to leave feedback it turned out I did order 2.... the damn things were so cheap (£1.45 each) that I thought I ordered 1 given how long I had to wait for them to arrive!

The quality of the pouches is miles better than the first htc-oem neoprone pouch I bought which was actually a tiny be dearer too. This Android one is a bit tight but you can tell it will stretch to fit nicely over time.

Car holder also arrived, nice piece of kit but a bit big so had to make room in the glovebox ~_^
