Nah, you can have 4 dual gpu cards for a total of 8 gpus. Its not an SLi restriction as you don't need SLi for either boinc or folding. In fact you can run 4 nvidia cards on a Crossfire motherboard if it has the requisite number of slots free :) Which is what I did when I had the 4 x 9800GT's in an ASUS P5Q Premium

Very well done on those tiffys Mr halz and Reaver job well done!
I've bit the bullet and put xp on dual boot 3rd machine but even browsing is painfully slow, hopefully output will increase but anyone have any ideas how to speed it up a bit? System just seems unusually slow theres a time lag between pressing buttons and action am well brassed off :(

Have tried closing anything unneccessary, boinc functions fine its just everything else, was kind of hoping xp would increase output like it did on other machines. Alas i might have to go back to 7 crumbs :(

my pending broke 200k... my own all time high hehe :p

Im on training this week and surprisingly, there is internet at the training centre. Usually it is something that you get turned on as and when needed, but its been on all the time...
Im off on my hols Sat - volcano permitting...
 
One of these days i might actually start to get rid of pending credit rather than just accumulating it its currently @ 298K and still rising. When will it ever stop :p
 
Was going to check to see how much pending I have but of course Borkeley is down for maintenance :rolleyes:

And k3v at position 26, again, PPD going up very rapidly
