Most of the riding near me requires a bash otherwise your big ring becomes useless as a big ring.
Make sure there is no grease on the post and that it is dry. Put some chalk on the post to stop it slipping. If that fails...new QR clamp, if that fails...new post, if that fails...
Carbon to Alu: no grease
I must be reading that wrong, to me it sounds like you value your marrige more than a shiney new bike[DOD]Asprilla;16569067 said:If I hadn't just bought an S1 and that purchasing this would lead to divorce I would have it in a heatbeat.
Get a camelbak anyway. I'v got an old hydrobak. You dont have to use it with the reservoir, mine is long gone but it's a great little bag without it. It fits a 750ml water bottle and a sandwich perfectly and is much more comfortable than carrying a big bag around. Means you have the option of using it with the reservoir for other things as well (xc, walking, skiing/snowboarding, etc)Can someone recommend me a good bag <£30 just for taking drinks in? Looking at camelbacks but won't really be any use since I wear a full face. Preferably as small as possible so it isn't too restrictive.

I've decided to go the whole hogg with buying new bits. I'm going to buy a set of Juicy 3's to replace the Giant Root brakes that came as standard on my bike. If Bikeradar is anything to go by, they are a worthwhile upgrade.
