What time do you cross Hampton Court Bridge? If you see a guy dressed in black with a shiny yellow rucksack on a white Ribble and a red / white helmet then that's me.
tbh honest i'm not sure - wasn't really paying much attention to the time but it was probably about 7.40 at a guess.

I'm on a black and white ribble with a bright blue jacket and black helmet trying desperately to clip back in ;)

He's near Esher Shore: Esher Shore - well nearer than I am! Never been - it's always been a long drive for me.

Yup, I get the bike shop there (freeborn) to do my tri bike tinkering since it's my second closest bike shop.

Nice bloke running the place.

I didn't know it was there until I found the bike shop. In fact I didn't even know it was call Esher Shore until you linked to it. It's on the racecourse.

Somehwere I've always wanted to go - looks brilliant! Really my type of riding. Nothing like that around me in South Wales! :(

ditto - thanks for the link rhysduck, if / when I resurrect the MTB I'll have to go try it out!

It seems crazy to have to pay to ride your bike. Uplifts/lift pass fair enough. Aston Hill and Chicksands are the same. Too many people and not enough space/hills?

Got hit by a car last Thursday, nearly fully recovered (very sore bruising to knee showing up late)

Car turned into me into London, thankfully at low speed and somehow managed to minimise damage by turning shoulder to car. Bike has no scratches or marks, I took the hit! Driver was really sorry, prob wont pursue as nothing to pursue on apart from his error, but I feel remorseful given the shock/apologies he exhibited.

Annoyed I havent been on a bike since then, hoefully back on the saddle tomorrow.

Saw your post on BR.

As long as you are OK and the bike is fine, then that's ok. just make sure you get the knee looked at.

I banged my knee getting in the car last year adn it was a bit sore for a while. Turns out damaged my patella tendon leading to a cyst an so three months following I was unable to run and needed £300 worth of physio.

Injuries, like frame damage, aren't always immediately obvious.

If it's not it's not too bad - still a bit over the top.
If it is charged it shocking.

Llandegla in N.Wales is only a car park fee, a couple of £'s and they have a new 4x track and so forth. Not sure on current prices.

Im heading to Dalby on the 5/6th June, camping Saturday and riding all day Sunday, my first proper trail riding, just hope my bike will stand up to it.

From Doncaster and your camping  :p I take it you have a commencal? It will cope perfectly around Dalby, the red is nearly all fast paced signletrack and obviously now you can have a go at the world cup course :D

Thats really nice....not so sure about the tyres though :o

My work wont take up the cycle to work scheme, such a shame as there are a few of us who would have taken advantage of it and spent a fair bit of poke through it.
