Yes from donny and camping, whats wrong with that lol, also yea its a commencal combidisc HT, with nothing as standard on it anymore lol but i love the frame.

Where you camping ? as your not allowed to within Dalby its self, I know there is a site just outside and then its free entry if you cycle in or else its £7 per car.

I ride it all the time on My Merlin Malt 4 so you'll have no problems at all. I've had a go on a few of my mates Full sussers and they actually make Dalby too easy as its really not that hard going there.

Since the UCI WC they've taken some of my fav downhill (red) sections out and turned them into uphill sections which we all think are impossible to ride up. It now just seams too easy there, lost of people have said its been dumbed down for health and safetly which is crazy if you ask me.

Check out the Black sections too as some are good but not really any harder than the red bits.

Doing Stainburn tomorrow and this time i'm going to ride down the slab !

I think its the campsite you mention, its 11ish a night, roughly around 12 of us going, 2 people carriers and a trailer for all the bikes plus roof racks if we need them lol, should be good fun, not much to really train on around here, so lets see lol.

Thats really nice....not so sure about the tyres though :o

My work wont take up the cycle to work scheme, such a shame as there are a few of us who would have taken advantage of it and spent a fair bit of poke through it.

Thanks,

Whats up with the tyres?

It's a bit of a bummer not being able to get on the cycle to work scheme, have you tried telling them that the company saves money too?

Hey guys only me again lol, anyways ive just finished retro fitting (no special tools) a new headset, issue is i didnt factor in the increased heights of the cups and what not, and as such the steerer appears to be on the shortside now. Before i had a 3mm spacer and then the stem and a small gap on the inside to the stem - Now ive got no spacer and a slightly bigger gap, pictures below to explain better, but am i safe? as the top bolt is below the tube by around 2-3mm.
click for bigger.

oh and also my highest drop at 4ft, im well chuffed altho i bottomed out the rim pretty hard :(

Nice one mate, well done! I havent done any runs round Elgin yet. Great weather for it.

What bike you got?

On a side note, just ordered my Avid Elixir 5 brakes. W00t!!:D

just riding a Felt Q220 hard tail as ive only been riding since Feb this year but loving it so far and the bike is taking some punishment LOL
only upgraded a few parts, using panaracer fire xcs - truvativ 5 D crankset - superstar lockons - 203mm rear rotor for control - SDG Bel air saddle
need to upgrade the forks next but im also looking to buy my first full susser soon as im hooked :p

yeah theres loads of downhill lines through the oakies and a wicked pump track with berms aplenty, the guy i was with was showing me a 12ft drop that he likes to ride . i'll try and dig out the video footage of that one

Nice list of upgrades. The Felt seems to have a decent frame. You got any particular fork in mind?
As for full sus I've fallen for the Santa Cruz Blur LT......awesome awesome bike

12 feet!!? Wow, I'd think twice about that myself :) Would be interested to see the video though. I'll be hitting the Learnie Red Rock before Elgin but have a Wildcat run this Sunday (if I get my brakes fitted on time)
