The Tiguan has arrived

£16,000 over three years for a car + tax + insurance + servicing + consumables + the convenience of not worrying about anything going wrong, really isn't very much money.

I don't agree with that. It's easier, yes, but it's £16,000 spent for 3 years of driving a car that you don't own. :o If it was a new car it'd be under warranty anyway and insurance and servicing isn't going to cost £5k a year, and you'd have a car to sell at the end of the period.

The electric handbrake was the one thing I didn't get used to when I had the Tiguan. Right until the end of the six months I would still try and pull a normal handbrake every so often.

Also thanks to the Tiguan I find I forget to put the normal handbrake on in the new car. Luckily I've not parked on any hills lately.

Oh man...you're not posting about your car cause you're afraid of people that don't like Golfs and instead drive umpteen year old yuppie-mobiles...that sucks :D.

No, I'm not posting because I'm too lazy and am in the middle of getting a driveway built, so the car is dirty and parked round the corner! If I remember, i might post a picture in a couple of weeks when I've washed it :D

dont worry i knew where this thread would go before i started it.

if you have a new car your in the wrong,
if you pay too much on finance your wrong,
if you have a car on lease your wrong,
if you live in a city and have a 4x4 your wrong,
if you don't have a propper 4x4 your wrong
etc etc

i'm happy with it, the wife is happy with it and it releases the Focus to be changed into something more exciting

Up the miserable lot of them and all the blah blah blah....

I’m happy for you, go and enjoy it. :D
