EK waterblocks DO NOT BUY THEM FOR 470/480

lmao love VoG's solution with a peg :D, that wouldnt of even crossed my mind haha. But its usually weight of car + weight of block then weight by pressure of water passing in and out giving it the slight bend.

A peg is some NASA style **** compared to cutting edge masking tape!

(Hardly ideal, but better than nothing.)

Gees the guy has identified a problem and a couple of people jump on him for bringing it to people's attention. Support is probably the way to go for now and then buy the backplate once they are available but yes your main point of this problem not being seen before selling the blocks does warrant a concern.

thanks :)

I'd be surprised if the 480 block is any heavier than their other blocks.

not sure tbh

VoG is right though, no water block supports the card that well as they don't attach to the black plate like the stock HSF. That give the whole assembly more rigidity.

There aren't that many benefits to having a HTPC case, but having the GPUs upright when water cooling is definitely one of them. :D

yep

lmao love that

On my Tri Sli setup I used a piece of car exhuast rubber to support my cards, took it off now as it doesn't really need it, I would try a piece of solid tube rubber so it doesn't look rubbish.
