UFC Undisputed 2010 DEMO (PS3/360)

Been excited for this ever since it was announced, where would be the best place to preorder so that I can be sure to get it on release day? :o

60 fights is pretty much double what you got in 2009 - any other impressions? What is the fighter development like compared to 2009?

Didnt play 09, only got into it from playing it at a mates!


and that youtube vid aint ufc u know that right? :p
 
EA MMA seems to have better controls, not sure whether to get UFC or not as can't get into it on the ground/submissions because of the stick movement thing :(

Might end up getting both but am going to wait to see if UFC gets reduced before buying it.

Already an improvement on 09 and I've only had 3 career fights. Your stats can go down if you neglect them between fights, so you need to balance training, sparring and training camps. Training camps are vastly improved. Rather than having a pre-determined moveset that you unlock through the training camps, you can now pick your camps to try to unlock new moves. Fancy adding a Superman punch? Pick the right camp and go for it. How about a left feint head kick? Same deal, pick the right camp and off you go. You really have much more control over your fighter, so you can really develop a pretty unique fighter. I'll give more impressions later as I'll be playing more tonight (also have Red Dead Redemption to review so bouncing between the two).

They seem very much quicker this time, not installed to hard drive yet so that may make it even quicker.

Submissions look more polished than UFC, but that ground and pound at around 1:30 is shockingly bad. Some transitions look good, some look poor. Will wait for a demo before deciding weather to buy it or not.

I'll have UFC to keep me busy until the time is right :)
 
Quick question on this on the career mode can you use fighters like chuck and try and get them to regain there belt?, Or is it like 09 you can only play with a created fighter?

When I started the career I only had the option to create a fighter, so I assume that's all you can do.

Mainly a website called GoOnl!neGames where I work as the Reviews Editor, so I contact the PR people for the games I want, and sometimes get lucky and get them through early like with this.
 
Just a quick one, does CroCop throw his own animation signature specific left high kick? That would be so awesome if he did :D
 
Not fought CroCop yet, but when I put it back on I'll see what training camp he's in and let you know if he has a signature high kick that you can learn (you can learn moves from the pro's here, like Chuck's big overhand right).

Had a quick fight with CroCop last night against Kimbo Slice, and his high left kick does indeed look more specific to him. It's very high and angled, almost hitting with his shin instead of his foot. Worked nicely in knocking Kimbo out :D
