Mate of mine had a little accident today at Brands...

Yeah "toe in the radiator" means putting your foot flat to the floor!

I liked his facebook status updates during the day:

Friday @ 7pm: "its that time again...Time to shake and bake! Next stop, Brands Hatch...." *photo of his pristine Golf on the trailer outside his house*

Saturday @ 11:15am: is shaking... And quite literally baking in the kent sunshine with Mr F.. Hoping to add 'overtaking' to that list within the hour! :-)

Saturday @ 9pm: has shaken, overtaken... And er break-en... Oops..

Now that is a man both alive and comfortable with what he's done.

I figured it as he was accelerating hard i.e. foot to the floor i.e. toes touching the radiator :p

I could also be wrong!

Foot to the floor would be the more common expression.

Thanks for explaining, never heard "toe in the radiator" before.

Probably a rusty floor in an old Golf like that. Probably nailed the brakes and broke through the crusty panel and ended up with his foot next to the radiator ;)

Or not :D

This theory cracked me up:D
