bit of a random question,

what do you do with presents that a ex have given to you in the past?

being teddy bears, mugs, or anything else that reminds you of them.

Do people bury them up in their lofts? give them to friends? throw them away?

just interested in what peoples views are on this!

If you can get practical use out of them, then why throw them away?

Agreed. I have a nice watch (which I don't wear as I don;'t really wear watches! :p) whilst I know who got it for me and there was no bad blood, why would I chuck it? It's not worth that much to sell (maybe £100) so why bother?

Naughty pictures etc... are fun to keep, but also not good for getting over someone.

If you can use it and it's a useful thing keep it, and just get on with it, if it's just sentimental, it's doing you no favours and getting rid wouldn't do you any harm.

Depends what it is & how special she was. I do have a soft spot for certain X's so if it's summit useful I keep it. The stuff from easy riders just gets forgotten about & god knows what happens to it.

Chucked away a silver Tiffany's ring my ex got me, seeing as I am not a jewellery kind of guy (not even a watch) and only wore it because she spend a fair bit of cash on it.

Smelt all valuables down before forming them into a cosh. Use the cosh to beat yourself over the back of the neck and head while plaintive sobs escape your quivering slash of a mouth. Mumble about how good she was for you as you weakly climax over grainy facebook pictures you had a friend send you because she's blocked you from her life.

On the other hand, you could just keep the ones you like and throw the ones you don't :)
