half life updates (changes you've seen)

Started again to check for differences but a couple of levels in i remembered how boring most of the game is and quit out.

what happened to all of the fun stuff in the original :(

 Both games are amazing, and the second has some of the best moments in gaming history!

I'm quite impressed Valve still update their games with so much content, and charge 0 for it.

id rather they just release hl3 other these episodes, surely the point of the episodes was to release small parts of a bigger story quickly rather then years and years dev time - something theyv clearly missed the point of.

Well, since it's their game they know what they're doing. Have faith they'll deliver a good game.

I haven't even got EP1 or EP2 yet...... I only got Portal as it was free...

Considering how fantastic I found Half Life and Half Life 2, its odd that I've not picked up EP1 or 2 yet.....

And as for Valve updating older games.. Well Mac users are now playing this, and they might not have even played the game before. I think its rather cool Valve are still supporting their older games... I for one, felt this update was a welcome change.. Too long have we had to see games released, had a years worth of updates, if we're lucky, and then it gets dumped to budget and thats it.... Bugs remain for ever.

I see no problem with it, although can see why some are wishing for EP3... lol

HL2 is a game I play from start to finish everytime i have a new PC :)

I was due a replay, but glad i read about the Cinematic mode, which I'm downloading now.
