Error 131, customer Id or whatnot

I got that error too when I was updating with the official firmwares, I had to create a goldcard with one of my SD cards... worked 1st time after that :D

There's always a risk doing things like this, it's very rare to have a problem. (Just like Overclocking really)

The version of Froyo isn't perfect yet, I've got Apps2SD working fine and there's only two other problems I can think of, being the memory leak or whatever that's slowing the home screens down a tiny bit, and the stock camera app wont work, but market apps will.

With that in mind, if you don't use Bluetooth, you'll have a pretty much fully working Froyo on your phone. The charging light staying on works fine now!

However, it's probably worth waiting until they are fixed, yes :)

It's great though, left it unplugged overnight and it only used 2% of the battery, and it used about 7-8% in 3/4 hours fairly heavy usage, so I'm not sure what people are talking about regarding the battery :p

I've just put Sense back on until the Froyo release is finished, it just need a couple of bugs and the Bluetooth working now, the Camera is sorted!

Pauls Modaco ROM is far far better than the one that comes with the phone, it doesn't lag one single bit with a Live Wallpaper on, which is nice :D

No, I cba at the mo. I might have to goldcard my SD card again. I assume though, once you've done it once, it's a goldcard period?

I'll remove HTC sync etc, will I have to put it back on again though?

For other people who want Froyo badly, Ahmgsk seems to be the most dedicated person for it at the minute.

It's worth waiting for V2 as that should have everything (including Bluetooth) working with any luck. V3 will be the perfected product.

Not sure what Paul @ Modaco is doing, he might be working on it at the minute, or not

V2 could be as early as tonight :p

Just installed a 16gb MSD card I got from the jungle, lots of room for music and movies now, out of interested can I just drop a 700mb .avi on and it will play or do I need to install anything else or convert the format in any way?

I think with .avi you might have to select it via a file manager. I'm not 100% sure on that though as I haven't tried any video files on Android yet (lol) :p

As far as I know, you'll have to convert it to .mp4 ideally!

I just popped my avi,s into the double twist video library and the phone synced when connnected and dropped the films as videos into my picture gallery.

You must see smooth different to me as his roms lag slightly in live wallapapers as they all do.
