Deaths as Israeli forces storm Gaza aid ship

"A millimeter wave scanner is a whole body imaging device ..

Clothing and other organic materials are translucent in some extremely high frequency (millimeter wave) radio frequency bands. This frequency range is just below the (related) sub-millimeter "Terahertz radiation" (or "T-ray") range."

Seriously now. What ?

You just pasted that from Wikipedia. The thing you are talking about is one of these

So in summary your argument is that because they didn't come down the ropes carrying (or perhaps inside?) one of these babies that they were obviously just out to shoot protesters.

Well, that's convinced me.

tell you what, watch this:

now tell me they overreacted

Heres a video of a peace protester stabbing one of the IDF commandos -

Proof that they were hell bent on martyrdom. Not peace.

Most of the comments here are just BNP racist hate mongering.;)

A country made out of convicts;)
you should be ashamed of yourself

Yeah convicts made mostly of Irish and Scottish. Sent by the Pomms for crimes amounting to nothing more than stealing bread.

You must be proud of your heritage.

The Turkish armed forces are the among the largest in the world, with a standing Army of around 600,000 men. They're generally considered well trained, disciplined and equipped. Israel would be extremely foolish, if not stupid to risk a head on confrontation with such a force. And if they're even stupider to attack Turkey itself, then they risk the Turkish government requesting NATO help, as is their right as full NATO members.
Turkey would get their **** handed to them on a plate. However, there is no way it would come to a full on conflict, NATO (i.e. the US) would lean heavily on Israel and NATO would lean on it's member (Turkey).

Millimetre wave technology isn't exclusive to those particular scanners. It was simply a definition of "radio frequency" to clarify what technology I was referring to.

MW was used to find targets long before these airport scanners were installed. Example being Apache attack helicopters.

Why would they? They have a larger Navy , a Larger Airforce with the same planes as Israel and a larger well equipped army..

Coincidentally I was recently reviewing the records of York Prison and the people being transported from there committed all sorts of crimes including various theft, forgery, fraud, poaching etc etc. They were presumably English in the main as well.

All crimes that remain illegal today, and presumably are in Australia too.

More to the point what on earth has this to do with this thread, and what on earth is someone who apparently has such distaste for a country doing on a forum based in that country and used mainly by people from that country.

Has the Australian government shut down all internet sites Australia ?

I suppose so. But which country has nukes.

Turkey does.

Turkey is one of five NATO member states which are part of the nuclear sharing policy of the alliance, together with Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.[8] A total of 90 B61 nuclear bombs are hosted at the Incirlik Air Base, 40 of which are allocated for use by the Turkish Air Force in case of a nuclear conflict, but their use requires the approval of NATO.[9]

So another application that too big to be carried. Want to keep trying ?

Because the Israelis have the bigger conviction... by the time the Turkish are as ready to commit they will already be rolled.

Can I also have some evidence that any of the commandos were killed?

As for the commandos, I simply asked for proof that any were shot or killed. Any other inference is your own.

You asked for evidence that any commandos were killed. No one claimed that they were killed... so you were asking us to prove something no one claimed ever happened

They're not Turkish though.

I'll highlight for you:

You said.. But who has nukes. As to say that would decide the outcome of the war. Now are you telling me that if Israel was to Launch a nuclear attack on a NATO member then the other members would say that Turkey could not use any of the 40 Nuclear bombs allocated to be used by turkey for such an event.

Well Israel won't use nuclear weapons, but the threat would (should?) be more than enough to shut Turkey up.
Israel doesn't need approval for anything. KABOOOM if need be.

I'm not expert, but seems logical.

By the time they had NATO approval... it would be a bit too late.
