…….. someone had to say it. I reckon it’ll be cake (AKA portal 2 across all formats, including Linux), and then EP3 for Half Life 2. Maybe a slight mention of new source engine to continue with Half Life 3 in the year 2022..!!

The most awesome thing ever would be Counter Strike 3, based on HL3's upcoming engine

They won't make (or I highly doubt) they would make a whole new engine for HL3. They would just upgrade Source heavily, since it was built to me modular and easily upgradeable.
It'll probably be Portal 2, Ep 3 and possibly some announcement of a new project. I doubt it'll be CS 2 either. The market has enough CS clones already, unless they go in a completely new direction with it.

nah source is 6 years old, it needs replacing tbh.

while it does textures well it's terrible for detailed models, its on of the few current engines that looks ancient with it's straight polys.

I would be very disappointed if it was CS3, but I don't think it will be as they are doing beta CS2 updated version now.
