Unjustifiable really, but whatever floats your boat.

Just been in a match with some blatant wall hacking & aimbotting. They were really subtle with the EMP use too, like 5 in a row, lost count of them at about 30.

Maybe you two should keep your word and actually 'shelve' the game and do the whole community who want to play properly a favour?

fired up modern warfare 1 absolutely brilliant now all the carp people have move onto mw2 and i can get a decent game without 12 y/o kids moaning and shouting into the microphone.

Its a game, stop crying.

Faded stop moaning and let us get on with it, you and oneshot have openely said that you don't like the gametype we play together and how terrible it is, we have let you get on with your HCSD games. We have not ruined your games in any way at all. Infact we got raped by the enemy on highrise when they sused out that every CP was a CG, but did we moan... no we didn't, did they moan..........no they wanted to join our lobby.

Anyway all the hacks are gone now. So the game is normal again, It was dam good fun though.

Time to shelve it.

yeah its unbelievable, some people actually think that cheating is a fun way to enjoy a gaming experience, it doesn't matter to them that they ruin the experience for everyone else. like football, people cheat and it just ruins the whole reputation of the game, grown men falling over and holding their faces like they've just been shot, well hacking is basically just that. you can't play the game the way it was intended because of being either A) totally moronic B) just generally not good at FPS games or C) have some sort of attention disorder..? which is it..?

before you even think about replying with 'its just a game' im well aware its not the real world, im not some crazy person sitting in a padded room or anything. but hell either play it the way it was intended or **** off and don't bother ruining it for everyone else out of bitterness..:p or an even better idea, how about you sign up to the army and go test your 'aimbot' out in Iraq, would make me feel much better if you did..;)

just been in a similar game before with my mate, some dude who was clearly using an aimbot. even tested just to be sure by hiding prone, camo suit, cold blooded pro, ninja pro, not moving a muscle in the long grass at the back end of underpass. play in question came round the corner an around a second later one shotted me with M4, just a tap of the trigger, now as far as im aware thats an aimbot right?

there was also another guy a couple nights ago rapid firing AT4, no reload, no running out of ammo, it was crazy. did the same with frag grenades as well, was just throwing frag after frag after frag. what else have i seen in recent days? predator missile around four seconds after match begins, several rounds in a row, game person doing it. nuke after around a minute with no countdown or warning. seemingly constant EMPs even though nobody on enemy team had enough kills for care package or EMP. man the list is endless, must admit im getting rather fed up with it now.

The whole hacking thing with mw2 i take a sort of sideways view to.

Aimbots and things like that are obviously bad news. I do however welcome the idea of using such exploits to add a new spin on various game type's, like forcing mike myers rules.

Would need something along the lines of mutators etc like the unreal tournament games. They had lots of modded servers and most of them were brilliant.

Nope you were just highlited by a big red box around you (they use the AC130 view on the ground) and the guy was using stopping power which gives the user 1 bullet kill with every weapon. If you were in that lobby or ever come across one again I suggest using a gun with stopping power as you will have the same 1 bullet kill as it's the entire lobby that gets infected not just the hacker, the big advantage the hacker gets is the instant updated UAV and the red highlite boxes the aimbot is pretty useless and does not work.

I think you'll find last night i went 250-10 and afterwards quite a few people were impressed and asked to join our lobby to give it a go.

Yes it 'ruins' the game for people who want to play sensibly. How about back out, the function is there. I was one of those people, the game got boring, i tried something new. Yeah it was a laugh and yeah it was at some peoples expense, but we had our fun, it was a one off thing and i wont be doing it again even if i could.

If you dont like it, be quiet and stop moaning about us. It doesnt affect you in the slightest and its up to us how we play the game.


@Gashman, without being too up myself, i'm probably one of the best at this game out of the people i play with reguarly. The problem is, that skill actually means **** all online. Come across a 10 year old kid with no reactions and so long as hes sitting 'hardscoping' an entrance with his assault rifle hes gonna get the kill. Thats my main issue with it, and chances are that will never change. So i gave it a go with these hacks, damn right it was too exagerated but minus the CG's from care packages thats how it would be if skill mattered.
 
although i agree with your comments with whats wrong with the game.

Hasnt the game always been this way from day one ? I played it on the PS3 from launch, and the kids noscoping and getting BS kills happened then.

But everybody put up with it and enjoyed the game still. Why's that changed ?

Have you seriously just compared Search & Destroy, which is an actual game type to hacked lobbies? :rolleyes:

And in fact whats to say you haven't ruined games for others, as I have been saying, if you infect people who then randomly jump into a game of Search, Domination, TDM, etc etc, then yes, it is ruining it for other poeple.

How can you seriously not see that?

For every 250-10 game you have some other poor guy is getting bum raped cause you are cheating.

How is that fair?
 
Hopefully now the double XP has ended it might return to some form of normality and all the singing 12 year olds will **** off!

Two more levels until I get cold blooded back. I hate playing on a team when no-one takes down the air support. :mad:
 
glad one of the group is still enjoying it.

Using the double XP i managed to get to Level 33 with about 13 hours playtime. Pretty poor compared with some on here, but im pretty chuffed. I only got to about level 49 on the PS3 before i switched so i think i'm going to try to reach level 70 and play about with all the toys before finishing with the games.
 
Been on lots this weekend, first time I've properly played since the first maps were released. Quite enjoying the new maps, much prefer this pack to the first one.

Still, not sure I agree with their choice of Strike as one of the CoD4 maps.
 
I can't wait to get to level 70 and get the AK back and mess around with classes. I really want the tac knife with the magnum to do some witching. :D

I wish they would have had the other map from MW that is like Strike. That was my favourite MW map.
