Like the idea of the band as antenni, wonder if it will actually work better as well. It would also mean they could use a metal back if they wanted?

And you decided to get an iPhone without looking at other options that may well be just as good/better and a hell of a lot cheaper?

That's what I'm looking at, yes.
I dont know; nothing that they have come out with is actually 'great.' The first iPhone was amazing at the time, the 3g was again better than all the competition, the 3gs was even sort of ok. But now that smartphones have taken off so much now, apple just seem to be churning out passable current gen text but with a rather fine marketing spiel attached.

Having played with mates smart phones IMO none of them compare with the iPhone even if spec wise the have more going for them on paper
I'm not getting drawn into that debate anyway not the time or the place
