I just don't think there's a better looking car around for the money. The DB9 isn't exactly ugly, nor is the Vantage, but I just think the DBS has an added touch of class and elegance while still looking pretty mean as well.

Get a used one, let someone else have the first whack of depreciation.

This I reckon would be the way forward. You may not get exactly what you want in terms of extras, but it's not exactly going to be a bad thing anyway! On the other hand, it would more than likely be a very very special purchase, and maybe something you'd like to spend the extra cash on to say it's "yours".

Slightly out of budget, but something else to throw into the mix?

AND the DB9? You greedy toad... :p

In the hypothetical question you'd already have the 150k set aside.

a 50k DB9 does 80/90 % of what the DBS does whilst still leaving you another 100k to spend on something thats not at all a grand tourer like the DB9 is. Plus that DB9 is from an Aston Dealer, so comes with Astons usual 1 year warranty which is excellent in what it covers (so my boss at work tells me)

You can't drive a GT3 daily though so the DBS trumps it in department.

Actually you might be able to. The one I went out in was lowered even more. The front splitter kept clipping the road at even the slightest bump :D

I've noticed the Housmater has been suspended. You might want to shorten the length, he's not adverse to dirty protesting ala Bobby Sands. You've been warned.

Sagaris and an LS engine dropped in please.. haha.

Although it would be a DBS out of those two, and definitely not an R8. Something about the R8 turns me off instantly.
