I find it hilarious how Mars feels the need to smear their wrappers in "England three lion's"... no offence but the majority of the UK doesn't support England and never will, you dont see them doing it in round the world in other countries... so why do it in Wales, Scotland and Ireland? Just dont understand?

Its quite funny how they assume England means "UK".... I'd love to know if they'd have done the same if Wales, Scotland or Ireland ever got thro!

Whilst I agree with you in principle, I'm going to be pedantic and point out that with a population of 51million~, England does hold the population majority of the UK, and it's mars probably allocate their stocks to the UK, not just England.

About 83% of the UKs population are living in England, not Scotland, Ireland or Wales. Sure, some people will hate football but most, even those who aren't fans will support England.

So chances are the majority of the UK do support England

What I find funny is all these companies that are now offering "bonuses" if england make the top 8 etc... it's funny but I bet it works a treat in terms of marketing.

Lol true... the news papers are just as bad..... Say Scotland won the world cup, Scotland would be lucky to get a write up on the back inside page of the news papers... yet all you'd read is "Why England Flopped at the world cup" for the next 6 months!

You do know that the Welsh, Scots and Northern Irish are in the minority in the UK, 83% of the British population are English or at least live there and would support the team.

I would expect that if Wales or Scotland had made the WC2010 then their flags would be represented also.

Probably just ignorance, or they've gone with the majority population (contrary to your statement). I don't agree with it. Besides, it's not even an English company so I can't understand the pseudo-patriotism.

Yeah i know that, sorry what i ment was.. The majority of Welsh, Scottish and Irish dont support England.

Its annoying how we seem to lose our identity to the rest of the world as they see the UK as England.... Yet on many occasions if England win, we get told “I don’t know what your getting excited about, your not Welsh”. It seems you only want our support when it suits you.

Are you sure than under 50% of the UK don't support England?

Last I read was that England made up around 90% of UK population.
