1TB Shows as 74.5 GB

I rescued a Samsung 1 GB 103 SJ HD from a Sky box, installed it in my comp, formated it, and it only shows as 74.5 GB. The only option in W7 is 'Format'. What do I do to recover the lost space?

Go to disc manager and remove the other partition.

Or failing that, download PartedMagic, though you should be able to sort it in Windows.

Indeed, right click on computer, manage, storage, disk management.

Then right click on the drive in question, delete volume. Once done create a new volume the correct size.
