Steam - Oblivion and Morrowind 3 DELUXE on Steam Weekend Deal!

With the mods.. do they install in the steam directory?
If so, if i were to reinstall oblivion would i need to reinstall all the mods again?

I'm curious about this too but for morrowind. MGE would only work when installed into the steam directory but the graphics mods I downloaded went wonky when installed into that directory. Not sure what's going on.

Just bought it. It only shows as one in the games library.. how do i install all the DLC's?

If i couldn't get into Morrowind, but absolutely fell in love with Fallout 3, would i enjoy Oblivion? Or should i just wait for New Vegas?

Run the game and select 'Data Files' maybe? That's what I had to do with Fallout 3.

In terms of gameplay I think Oblivion has a bit more in common with Fallout 3 than Morrowind, but I suppose it depends on why you couldn't get into Morrowind.

Morrowind is much deeper than Oblivion. Oblivion was dumbed down to an extent.

Did they fix the problems with getting mods to work with oblivion as it would be a damn shame not to be able to run most of the better mods due to OBSE not working right

Well I hated vanilla Oblivion so bought the maxed out version, I'll give it another go

No way can I play MW again, it'll destroy my social life....

MW is definitely one of my all time fave games. I miss my house with its ridiculous collection of weapons and armour!

I remember being really edgy when I went into my first Dwemer ruins too (the one where you have to use the crank over the bridge, very atmospheric!)

Buy both and pay an extra £15, wow, baragin

By the way, I couldnt even imagine running any moddable game on Steam, what a nightmare they are having to go into your hidden apps folders.

ugh, I really want to buy up this deal, but I know I wont be able to play any of the games for at least a year... decisions, decisions. I wonder if this (or a better offer) will come up again in the future?

If you dont already have the games I would definately buy them while they are this cheap. £3.25 for Morrowing and £6.80 for Oblivion GOTY editions is unbelievably terrific.
