Grumble grumble...cheap car

I think people are assuming I'm in dire straights financially because I've decided to sell the car. Not at all - I just weighed up the pros and cons and decided I'd rather have the extra cash that selling up would give me.

The iPad was a geek splurge, havent had one of those in a while - its really nothing to do with the car, I just wanted one so I bought one

It's a hatch

Was a very nice car, only flaws were a small tear in the leather on the drivers seat and there was no air coming from the vents. I can get the leather sorted easily enough and he's going to sort the ventilation, sounds like a pipe has just come loose or something.

He's taking the 1500 I wanted to give him, so provided this bloke turns ip to buy my car I'll be calling him on sat to pay a deposit and pick it up next week.

Question about the Bose stereo, is replacing it an easy affair? Would like to keep the sub if I can

Thats really good thats its a hatch too. You'd have paid £3k for that car 18 months ago tbh.

Regarding the bose stereo i really can't help too much. I replaced the headunit in mine and plugged the bits back in again and i lost the back sub

but still sounded decent enough for me even without.

It shouldn't need saying but I must say that i don't think Robbie G has said anything wrong on this thread at all either.

Well I've just bid a fond farewell to the Saab. Moneys in my account and a happy customer has taken it away. Deposit paid on the Honda and collecting it a week today

Good, I hope you have learnt from this, but seen as you are the kind of guy to get stuck in the friend zone with a girl to the point where you base your car purchasing decision on her dog I really doubt it.
