The EA week on Steam

if you re-install windows, Steam keeps all your games/settings etc within either the steam directory structure or the steamcloud. This is PRICELESS! No more reinstalling games and losing saved games/settings etc

or you could just back them up

Apparently its a complete Anti-climax.

I have everything except C&C 4 and Kanes Wrath. I might get KW if its going cheap but I'm not going near C&C4... and I bought C&C Renegade :D

Ah well :(

Kane's wrath is well worth getting imo. If you enjoyed C&C3, KW has a good campaign and adds a totally new risk-style 'world domination' way of playing the game which is a lot of fun :D

I've yet to find a way to backup games that survives a Windows system partition format. If you know of one I'm all ears.

This is because almost all installers write stuff to the registry and the registry is rebuilt from scratch upon a fresh windows install. You can backup system state, but it's no use if you change your hardware (as I did)

:)

A lot of those games have been on offer before (Dragon Age, Dead Space, Mirrors Edge).

Wish they could bring out more new offers rather than recycling the old ones every few months :-\

Warhead is more of a new game as opposed to an expansion. It has a more fun single player campaign, with more destruction in general! It's a little short though, but worth buying on this offer for sure. If you still get crysis wars with it, definitely, as that can be a lot of fun online.

I hope you didn't pay that, 'cause it's £14.99 on my Steam at the moment. :o

I did pay that?
