The Apple Store now says (Ships: By July 2nd)

Looks like they've sold out of the first batch of pre-orders already!
 
16GB ordered. I was considering the 32GB, but it isn't worth an extra £100 to make managing my music a bit easier.

Now I just have to be at home when it arrives. Hmmm, what to do?
 
Just a quick question. Would it be possible to use an o2 PAYG ipad micro sim in the new iphone and change my current mobile contract details over to it?

I thought i'd ask as the sim has a PAYG mobile number on the back as if its just a normal phone sim (obviously with ipad tariff on there though). Just wondered if the possibility was there to change my details over save me depending on o2 to send me one out, because even if they sent me one out i'd still have to do the same and change the details on that sim.
 
I wonder if the old delivery date will come back if lots of people cancel their pre-orders once the mobile operators release their handset contract charges :p
 
I would have ordered for delivery on the 24th if my credit card company hadn't done their usual 6 monthly suspension of my account for fraud prevention purposes. Took over an hour to get through to India, by which time the delivery date had changed :(

However, I just realised I have already got the 24th off work for World Cup recovery, so have reserved a 16gb phone at the Oxford Circus store :D Now I just need to figure out how to get a micro sim from o2 for my simplicity contract.

From what I hear Apple has held off manufacturing many (If at all) white iPhone 4's in order to ramp up production of the black ones. You'll be lucky if they have any at all to be honest...you haven't been able to get the white ones on the online store at all today.
 
I've reserved but I'm not going to be able to pick it up - although I haven't received a confirmation email.

Arse! Just looked and all the 32Gb models are unavailable in any Apple stores :mad:

Edit: unless you're just not able to researve the 32Gbs instore? sounds stupid if it is!
 
Meh. I really want to upgrade from this 3G so I'm hoping o2 can beat the Apple sim-free £600 price.

Going to wait a couple of weeks until I can see both in the flesh. When the 3G came out they had no White models, so I plumped for black.. This time I want a choice :p

I think guru James hung himself.. No contact for the last few days haha
 
The pressure of his task to deliver good news every day was an impossible job.

Hopefully there will be some white one around the 1st week of July when I'll be able to afford to sort out a new contract with O2.

Depending on their prices that is
 
Really thinking about getting a Black 16GB version to replace the White 3Gs I've got.

Read a few posts regarding a new sim card from o2, there shouldn't be a problem getting a new one with my existing number should there?
