Meh, the so called 'new maps for free' was the same BS that happened with BC1, there's already some jungle type maps, sure there will be some weapons/vehicles but meh, lol COD: Black opss. Maps will probably be fairly small too.

Meh Meh Meh, no longer interested in BF.

What I'd have liked is an urban area where there is actually stuff to blow up, have a think about it, how many buildings do you actually see in any of the maps hardly any, what's the point having a destruction engine if there isn't much to blow up and reak havoc, game developers boreee me....

If it's a fully fledged expansion and is decently priced I'll buy it, I've gotten more fun out of BC2 than most other shooters available.

I'm not sure it is going to be fully fledged as such. From all the news/reports i've seen there seems to only be four new maps, although there are of course going to be a whole host of new vehicles and weapons to tie into the Vietnam theme.

Agree. If its like the BF2 expansions then worth paying for.

The Special Forces expansion was great in BF2
 
wasn't bf Vietnam a buggy pos? i remember giving it away for free to some random on MM cus i was so annoyed about it.
The best bit i remember was my team m8s in a tank, think was about 4 on it cus some could sit ontop of it? and they had that bird music on, so i run in front of them and chuck a load of charges on the floor in front, i sit back and detonate, and get like 5tks!
It prob sounds stupid and immature but to me it was one of the funniest gaming moments of my life.

Hope you can pick stuff up, loved Vietnam - One of the best theme'd war games.

I aways wished you could play music out of the choppers, quite fancied playing Ride of the Valkyries or Nowhere to Run :D
