worst phone you ever used?

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic - MP play is about the best thing other wise it's just a Christmas cracker gift.

Really? I was actually very impressed with it given it's pricing bracket. I used one for 2 months whilst moving from an Xperia to a Touch Pro2, and my gf is still using it to date.

Any phone that runs Winmo...worst OS ever on a mobile device and will never ever touch another one again for as long as i live:D

I was unfortunate enough to own an LG Cookie for a small period of time. TERRIBLE phone. The GUI was sluggish, typing out a message took forever because the more text you had on the screen, the slower the thing would go until you got to the point where you're typing and the text doesn't show for a good four or five seconds where it all appears at once. The camera was awful, no flash, the touch screen was totally unresponsive at times and it was prone to freezing, and the resolution was ****. Either that or the screen was just really poor quality.

Samsung Jet

Its not fast like it was marketed, the camera is absolute crap, the screen is crap and the touchscreen is highly frustrating and unresponsive and the internet browser, I cant even think about the internet browser without wanting to smash the phone

Cant wait for upgrade time back to Sony and a decent phone with a decent camera I cant wait

Oh god I forgot about this! My gf was bought one on a 24 month contract by her dad stupidly just before they went end of line :(

She's now using my old 2g iphone and even though it doesn't open apps for some reason and is a little slower than the jet, she still finds it much easier to use.

But yes, the jet is an awful phone that was no where near as fast as they hyped it up to be. In fact I'd say it was slow.

What did all you Viewty haters dislike about it? Worst phone ever? with 640x480@60fps video, 120fps video, 5mp auto/manual focus camera, small, light, sure the interface was a little inconsistent but it was definitely one of the best phone's I've had.

Which all sounds great on paper but the delivery of it was truly terrible. There were bugs and speed issues left, right and centre and LG never updated the firmware even once.

Finding the simplest of things in the menu was a chore in itself just because the screen was so un-responsive at times and the ruddy lipstick style stylus was just gay...:D

Also the shutter lag on the camera was awful making it just about un-usable for anything that wasn't dead.

Will admit though for anything that wasn't moving the image quality was very good.

Terrible isnt it, its not like me to fall for marketing hype as i've never owned an iPhone or any apple products for that matter but I cant beleive I fell for the Jet, never again!

vodafone 541, basically a rebadged alcatel VF541, dont ever buy a PAYG touchscreen phone when it costs 40 quid brand new lmao the novelty lasted 30 seconds

I have to say that I never experienced any of these bugs or slowdowns, it worked really well for me making phonecalls, texting listening to music etc.

Also don't remember the shutter lag being any worse than most other phones. Obviously I got a much better experience out of it than most it seems.

Oh and I never used that stylus lol

Orange branded Sammy Tocco Ultra. Slow, clumsy touch controls and of course full of all the Orange crap.

Any of the new cheap Samsung touchscreen phones. My dad has one and the screen is all scratched because it's soft plastic. It's slow, the UI is horrible and the touchscreen is so unresponsive most actions take 2 or 3 presses.

I know there's supposed to be a marked difference between high-end smartphones like my Nexus and much cheaper featurephones like the Samsungs but seriously, didn't expect they'd be that bad.

Sony Errison Z200 I think its called. It is, without doubt, the worst phone in history of all mobile phones. That is all.
You're kidding, right? It's a basic sony ericsson so I'm pretty sure that phone reliably makes calls, sends the occasional text message and lasts a couple of days between charges all while being fairly straightforward to use, ie. everything you'd ask of a disposable budget phone.

Try using the aforementioned NEC e606 or the wonderful e313 to see an example of a truly awful phone. Note: They don't do any of the above right.

6 hours between charges? Can't transition between 3G and 2G without dropping calls? Calls often don't connect even in high signal areas? Foul user interface? I traded it in against a hateful little windows mobile device

Maybe it's just me, but I've never had a "bad" phone.
At the time, all mine worked well.

My current N96 is laggy, and lacking in the battery department, but I wouldn't class it as a bad phone, it does everything I could ask of it.

Maybe my "worst" phone would be the N73, it was just rather large, but at the time it was awesome!

The fake Nokia phones (E71 etc) my dad has spare which I used while waiting for Desire arrival.

You can't get worse than a phone trying to be Windows Mobile with the sounds pulled straight from Windows XP xD

It had a TV tuner and stuff though..... Damn the Chinese!

original iphone on release. was like a touchscreen bolted onto a 1997 motorola

actually i lie because ive used plenty of the budget nokias that feel like kids toys
